Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Sports Science & Health Advances publishes all its manuscripts in full open access, meaning unlimited use and reuse of articles and giving credit to the authors. All of our articles are published under a Creative Commons (CC BY) license.

Authors pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of peer review administration and management, professional production of articles in PDF and other formats, and dissemination of published papers in various venues, in addition to other publishing functions. The article processing charge is to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management. Please note that the option to process an advance payment remains but does not guarantee the acceptance of manuscripts. There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission charges, and no surcharges based on the length of an article, figures or supplementary data. Some items (Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, Retractions, Comments, etc.) are published free of charge.

All articles published in Sports Science & Health Advances (ISSN 2583-8296) are published in full open access. An article processing charge (APC) of 10000/- INR (Ten Thousand) applies to papers accepted after peer review.

Tax/GST will be added if applicable.

APC Waiver Policy – Sports Science and Health Advances

Sports Science and Health Advances supports equitable access to scientific publishing and offers a partial Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver policy to authors facing financial constraints. Authors may apply for a waiver at the time of manuscript submission by sending a formal request to editor@sshajournal.com, clearly stating the reason for the waiver. Upon receiving the application, the editorial board will review and evaluate each case on its merit. Based on the justification provided, a waiver of up to 80% of the APC may be granted at the discretion of the editorial members. All waiver decisions are final and aim to uphold the journal’s commitment to inclusive and accessible academic publishing.
